During this year's Amazing Praise, help us FUND the FREEZER!
Your donations this year from noon September 15 to noon September 17 will serve Belmont for years to come!
Now in its 10th year, The Amazing Praise is a 48-hour giving campaign in which 18 Greater Richmond nonprofits, including Belmont, work together to raise awareness and funds in a collaborative format.
Your donation will impact Belmont directly while supporting the overall campaign efforts of The Amazing Praise. Last year, thanks to your generosity, we raised $37,000 for Belmont towards the collective $536,000 generated within The Amazing Praise Campaign as a whole.
This year, our goal is even bigger because our needs are large and specific. Our old walk-in freezer, which allowed us to store hundreds of pounds of food for our neighbors as we prep for distribution each week, needed to be replaced. Our trusty repairman kept it going as long as he could, but its functional life had come to an end.
Our goal of $50,000 will not only finish funding the freezer and installation (including the new concrete pad and electrical work), but will also allow us to fill the freezer with meat and other frozen foods through the end of the year.
Your gift this year will not only feed our neighbors for months, but funding the freezer is an investment that will serve Belmont and our community for many years to come.
